  • Back to the Basics

    I have really missed this place! My life has been a continuous whirlwind for quite some time now and there seems to be very little time to do the things I actually enjoy doing (i.e. blogging). I am working and going to school, and if that isn't enough, I have other things inbetween that are filling up my schedule. Everyone shares the same overwhelming feeling of an over-booked schedule and the idea that there just might not be enough time in the day to get everything finished. Somewhere, we must find time for ourselves -- whether it be time to vent, time to relax, or even just time to stop for a moment. Writing has always been an outlet for me, it is the only way I can ever truly express the way I feel about someone or something. I missed writing on this blog and I missed my readers, so...without further delay: I'm back!

    I hope all is well with each of my readers and new ones, as well.

  • Three Things! Let's Play :)

    Three Things I learned today:

    1. No matter how many times someone tells me being nice doesn't pay off -- it does.

    2. Talking to my boss only once in an eight hour day creates a wonderful work experience.

    3. Praying consistenly not only works, but it just makes me feel better.

    Three Things I want to accomplish this week:

    1. Pay my tithes.

    2. Watch John Cena on Monday Night RAW even though I do not get off work until 10:30 pm tomorrow.

    3. Stay emotionally stable when I receive the news about my stepfather.

    Three Things I think would make my week more fun:

    1. Go to the fair and actually enjoy it instead of working it like I have for the past five years.

    2. Stress would magically lift off my shoulders.

    3. A super hot guy would walk through my door, or at least to my cash register.

    Three Things that I hope to figure out:

    1. Why people in my family have to be ill nearly all the time.

    2. How much longer I can go on with this stress.

    3. How I can get rid of all of this stress.

  • Happiness: What is it really?

    Is happiness just something to keep our minds calm in a time of storm? Is it some sort of denial, in order to forget about all the bad things that are surrounding us? How can we truly be happy? I wanted so badly to make a long post about happiness and what it might mean -- but as much as I'd like to...I can't. I have nearly forgot what happiness is and I can't fake it much longer. So really, what is happiness and how can I get it back?
