#2 By watching a lovey-dovey movie, it tends to make a girl more apt to curl up to her man.

#3 He can't wait for the romantic parts of the movie because he thinks that will somehow make the girl want to be with him romantically.

#4 They're just good and guys feel the need to be macho, so they just aren't man enough to admit it.

Let me tell a story that happened almost three years ago. I want with my current girlfriend at the time at my house, she was a cool girl, and we're still really good friends today. She would come over and just hang out. We were better off friends really, but we were friends that enjoyed making out.

Anyways, one day I was standing there in my room putting up clothes and she was flipping through the channels. I don't remember if it was Pretty Woman or Dirty Dancing, but she stopped in dead switch and turned to me and said "I hate these movies... they paint images of men that aren't real. How would women like if people made movies about the ideal woman for a man? Who would be entertained by a woman in the kitchen all the time wearing low cut shirts with big D breasts?"

I don't believe my boyfriend likes chick flicks lol. We watched the Notebook and Marley & Me, that's about it. I like to watch them by myself because usually it's a sad movie and I like to cry alone haha!

@bronzed_modelesque - Haha, I can understand that. And yes, not every guy would like them, just like we don't like every action movie, well, I kinda do, but not everybody does, haha.

Well I was just sharing the same thoughts as her. I never really had anything against chick flicks until I heard what she said, and I found that it made sense.

@NeverEndingStriveForPerfection - Hey! I've been on vacation, just got back today actually and just haven't got back into Xanga just yet. I'm doing well, other than I'm feeling a little under the weather, but I'm decent. And it's okay about the emails, I know you have a life off the computer also, haha.
