What is your New Year's resolution for 2010? To My Readers!

Happy New Year to all of my readers! I wish nothing but the absolute best for you in 2010 because you certainly deserve it. In fact, I cannot tell you how much you all have meant to me with your unconditional love and support. It's no secret that this year hasn't exactly been a cakewalk for me. After moving out after a falling out with my parents, it was the toughest decision of my life -- but with your help, I made it and now, I am happier than I have ever been and the relationship with my parents is better than it has ever been.

Thank you my dear readers, you mean so very much to me. Now, onto the question...

My New Years Resolution is ... actually, I don't have one. I decided not to make any resolutions this year, rather, I am making a total list of accomplishments for 2010 which is private, but it's something I do each year and it has proved to be a success for me. I encourage you do something like this, it's very rewarding. I even am placing little rewards and treats to myself on particular things of difficulty for achieving them -- it's a very nice idea and can be extremely helpful in reaching your goals. Who doesn't like that good ol' rewarding feeling?

At this time of year, everyone is filling all of the stores pockets when buying gifts or presents for their loved ones. I too, fill the stores pockets, however, I do think it's very important to remember that Christmas isn't about all of the gifts you get and how many of them you recieve -- for me, it's about the gift of Christ and I think that people (who believe) should always remember that.

For those of you who do not believe, may be another religion, or if you have a different stance on Christmas -- I am not shooting you out of the ballpark! :) Please tell me, what's your take on Christmas? Any and all comments are welcome.

I'm Getting Baptized Tomorrow! -- Very Special Post

Okay, it's after 12, so it's officially today - to avoid any confusion, haha.

Yes, I am getting baptized tomorrow morning. I have been saved since March 22, of this year, however, I have always believed in God -- just never made that extra step, or commitment, I suppose. However, I have made that golden step, as I like to call it, and now I am ready to make another.

Okay...I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, however, I am not lying when I say that I am fully ready and I know the good things that God has in store for me and I am ready to walk through this world with him for ever, and ever.

Tomorrow is a big day for me, not only because of my baptism, but because it is my dad's birthday. Or so it would have been, I suppose, however, we always remember those who have passed on. He passed away when I was just eleven-years-old and I am very glad that the Lord has blessed me with him and for the time that we had together. The Lord gave me this date, the 20th of December a few weeks ago, my dad's birthday. I have no doubt this is right and is what is meant to be, and I will certainly never forget it.

This is for you, dad.

For Twilight Fans AND Non-Fans

In the beginning, I did not understand the hype of Twilight -- this was before I read some of the books. By the way, I am only in Eclipse, so PLEASE, do not contain any spoilers in your comments. Now that I am reading Eclipse and have read the previous books, I have fell in love with the series. Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are my two favorite men currently, except for John Cena, that is. So here is a blog for those who do and do not like Twilight, for those who have and have not read the books or scene the two movies -- this is for you.

Above you will see Robert Pattinson who portrays Edward Cullen in Twilight. He is a favorite of many, including both Twilight fans and non-Twilight fans. Many know him from Vanity Fair, Harry Potter, and many other films he has starred in. For those who do not like Twilight, I am sure that you may like him for his acting in his other roles or even just his stunning good looks! Check Robert out if you haven't already, he is an amazing actor and oh, so breathtaking.

Above you will also notice a gorgeous (not as visible here, but believe me, I will show you proof!) young stud, Taylor Lautner, who portrays Jacob Black in Twilight. He is also a favorite of many, I'm sure you have seen the "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob" signs around, everyone has a side it seems. He is quite the actor at just the age of seventeen (he's MY age, watch out ladies!) and has starred in roles such as Cheaper in the Dozen 2 and Shark Boy and Lava Girl. For those who aren't Twilight fan or not yet (maybe this will make you wanna read or watch Twilight!), you may like Taylor Lautner for those great acting roles or his gorgeous body (you cannot tell from this picture, when Jacob had long hair in the first book, but I will show you next). Check this boy out!

Now let's see how they have changed since Twilight, as they moved on to New Moon.

As you can see, Edward has not changed (does he really need to?). However, big difference with Jacob. In New Moon, he cuts off his hair [and I will not say why or when so I don't spoil anything] and it reflects the same in the movie. How much better does he look now? MUCH better. :) Now that I have showed you this two boys, I hope that you will find a new appreciate of Twilight, or to read or see Twilight, or to just appreciate the hottness of these two males. Since I'm kind, I'll post some great pics of them now. Thanks for reading, and please let me know you opinion of Twilight, and Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner), including what side you're on, if any.

College Help!

I'm now a junior and have to start thinking about colleges and starting the process. Any tips or advice?

UPDATE: Just talked to my college advisor and she told me that I am way ahead in the process and am already qualified for everything I need, so I just have to keep up the good work and next year, I will apply to the college I know I want to go to, and apply for scholarships.Yay :)
